Well, in a few days I will exit my 20's and begin my downhill slide into my 30's. Only it doesn't really feel that way.... I know I'm supposed to be all depressed about this dreadful year, but I still feel like I'm 21, maybe 22... and seeing how I still look young (maybe not 21 or 22--humor me please!) and sometimes I still act like I'm a teenager..... it isn't going to be nearly as traumatizing as it is for some people! Maybe it has to do with the fact that if you've never really been cool, you don't feel like you're losing something, right??
Let see, my 20's brought me many great friends and countless good times. I got my degree and was able enjoy being single for a year or so. Then I married my favorite guy, we made 4 of the cutest babies ever, and are still in love!!! We also bought our first house together lived there for 5 years and recently moved to our second home which hopefully will last longer than the last!! Looking back there are many times I love to remember (and many times I choose not to remember). So much hard work went into accomplishing goals and I am thankful for everyone I was able to meet and for what they added to my life. I am also grateful because I think it was during this time that I began to develop the relationships with my family & my Heavenly Father that I cherish so dearly now. I was also welcomed into a new family with loving arms and love being part of them. If my 30's can be any better than my 20's, then I say...whoo-hoo!! Bring it on! (We'll see if I feel the same way on Saturday)

Go Sammie! Ya, you don't look ANY different from your wedding pictures....so I'm pretty darn sure you could pass for 21. If you were a drinkin' woman they'd still be checking your ID at the bar:)
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY Sammie!! 30's are great! I didn't feel like I was turning 30 either. In fact, I still feel like I am 25 years old. 30 isn't so bad especially if you look as good as you do! Love yah cous!
Sammie! I haven't had a chance to blog or read anyone's blog in a couple of weeks! I was just thinking about you and then realized your birthday had come and gone. Well, Happy Belated birthday!!! I hope you had a good one! The big 3-0. Pretty crazy we're that old now. I always think of my mom as being perpetually 30!
