So, we finally booked our trip to NYC in June and it's finally starting to feel real. It's amazing how that happens after you shell out big bucks!?! I'd like to enlist some help from you in the blogging world. If you have been to NYC/Palmyra, what do you suggest that I see or think I absolutely cannot miss? And for those of you who dream of going, what have you always wanted to see/do? We have many ideas but only 9 days so give me some food for thought.

Check out this post from one of my favorite blogs, Sammie. http://martawrites.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-new-new-york-city-penpal.html

You guys are going to have a blast!
It is so worth it to wait in line and buy tickets for as many Broadway shows as you can. I saw 3 shows in 2 days and it was fabulous. We managed to pay less than $75 for each of the tickets too. This was years ago but we saw Les Miserab, Ragtime, and Lion King. Loved all of them.
The Temple in NYC would be something to visit. There is also a place called, "Houston Street" (pronounced Howsten Street for some odd reason), they have lots of outdoor vendors and you can find some cheap knock-offs and cute jewelry. It's a fun shopping area.
That's about all I know from the rest of the typical sites like FAO Schwartz, Time Square, Ellis Island. Make sure to ride the subway, it's always a fun experience. And take a cab just for fun, the drivers are insane, haha. NBC Studios was also a fun place to visit, too. I'm so jealous now... what a fun vacation. Is the whole family going?
I don't know anything about NYC, but I'm kinda surprised you're going during Trudy's visit.
Just make sure you pack as much in to everyday as you can. You feel that it is totally worth the money to just have to fall into bed. We loved the temple, but it is only open certain hours, so just call ahead. And don't forget to visit central park! Too fun! NYC has been one of my favorite vacations so far. I could go there every year. You will have such a blast.
p.s. my sis live in Rochester, so if you need help with anything upstate, just let me know!
Love you!
