So, this morning as I lay in bed a stark realization came over me that because of Keith's family's reunion and our New York trip I will only be at home for 7 of the next 21 days and those days aren't even sequential. Four of them will be this week and 3 next week. It was at that precise moment that my mind and body were overtaken by that mind numbing, stomach cramping and head aching emotion known as stress. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
OK, I feel a little better now. I'm already expecting a few moments of freaking out during the next few days. There's just so much to do. Still, I know things will get done and my children will be well taken care of. I'm hoping the days at the family reunion will be a nice interim before getting ready to leave my kids and home for 10 days. I don't remember the last time I did that. Wait a minute, it has never happened before!
All right, I'm calming down now. Do you have any suggestions of any good books that I might take with my to occupy the time I will spend in airports and on airplanes? I really don't want to make a last minute purchase at some overpriced bookstore in the airport terminals. Also I would appreciate any last minute tips you might have on NY and or church history sites in and around Palmyra.
Hopefully this won't be my last post until Father's Day. That would be way to much catching up for me to have to do. Thanks for letting me vent you all!

You have good reason to be stressed. You have a lot of events in the month of June. I can't wait to read about them on your blog. When life isn't as crazy for you, I would love to get together.
You're going to have such a fantastic trip! I can't wait to hear about all your adventures this month. Hope you make it through everything without too much stress!
Have fun on your trips!!
Inhale, Exhale, Inhale, Exhale and HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! Don't you spend way too much time at home, anyway?!?
I have lots of books you could borrow. I just read one by Stephen Covey's daughter titled Contentment. It's about motherhood and I came away with a few gems. I also have a newer Dean Hughes one that I haven't read yet, but you'd be welcome to. I think it's about Diane from the Hearts of the Children series. I have all of those, too. Come take a look at my stash. I'd love for these books to be used!
Sammie, smile and think about a wonderful break from house cleaning. Good books...there are so many...How about the first 5000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen or The Poisonwood Bible (I couldn't put that one down.) On the lighter side Neil and I enjoy sharing Jeff Foxworthy and Dave Barry paperbacks.
I am sure that you already have everything under controll and you don't even realize it. Have so much fun in N.Y. and don't worry about what you did not get done at home!!!
